Communication doesn’t have to be difficult and arduous. However successful communication takes practice. If day-to-day communication is difficult then critical conversation require Herculean ability. They are thorny, complicated and often messy. Critical, difficult, frightening, challenging, annoying, serious, tough, unpleasant, confrontational …whatever we call them they are conversations we don’t want to have.

So let’s give some examples of those difficult conversations:

  • Critiquing a colleagues work
  • Talking to a team member (or anyone) who isn’t keeping commitments
  • Terminating a relationship…personal or in business can be an employee, vendor etc.
  • Talking to a coworker who is rebellious, disruptive or otherwise problematic
  • Talking to your boss about ethical challenges, i.e. the boss or company is breaking or bending their own rules
  • Discussing performance issues with a staff member, or even a vendor
  • Saying "no" to someone…setting the boundaries
  • Sharing with colleagues/staff about the less than stellar performance of the company and what this means to them
  • Talking to your boss about anything he doesn’t want to hear

And let’s face it nobody wants to have these conversations. Do you avoid conflict?  Don’t you wish they would just go away?

Do you:

  • feel challenged by people at work who commit but don’t follow through?
  • get inadequate results from people even after trying to give crystal clear instructions?
  • have the same discussions with people over and over with no new results?
  • often hear…”it’s not my fault’, ‘I thought you meant…”, “I was waiting on…”, and wonder if anyone accepts accountability?
  • ever ask yourself why you see so much conflict between individuals or teams in your company even though you have worked hard to prevent it?

In this webinar you will learn:

  • The building blocks critical for extraordinary communication
  • The barriers and bad habits that interrupt communication
  • How to handle those difficult, challenge, unpleasant conversations
  • And much, much more….

Why have another day dreading these difficult conversations? Attend this webinar and the techniques and skills you learn you’ll be able to use tomorrow!
